There is an in-line regulator with this fire pit that makes sure a safe pressure level is maintained when using the fire pit, so if you have...

  • Is It Possible To Connect A Firepit With 20lb Tank Connection To My RV Propane supply?
  • What kind of fire pit do you have? All of the portable fire pits that we deal with, such as the Ignik FireCan Portable Fire Pit # GN24FR are designed to be used with a propane tank, and will have a hose with its own regulator. If this is what you have, it will not work with the already regulated propane coming from your RV, and there is no way to safely bring the two together. The only option would be to carry a separate propane tank which can be attached directly to the fire pit.

  • Thoughts On The Ignik FireCan Portable Propane Fire Pit
  • It sounds like you are on the right track with your thinking here Mark. The Ignik FireCan Portable Propane Fire Pit # GN24FR really is intended to be used with a propane tank. You are right that it will not work with the regulated propane coming from your vans supply. You may be able to hook the two together but the flame in the fire pit would be weak/intermittent at best. It likely would not work at all. That does still leave the issue of the on/off for the firepit being several feet...
